Civic Nation Names Wilma Linares as Chief Financial Officer

Today, Civic Nation announced that Wilma Linares will join the organization as Chief Financial Officer, where she will oversee the financial health of the organization and provide strategic vision, planning, and oversight on all financial matters. She joins Civic Nation from the American Immigration Council, where she served as Managing Director of Finance and Strategy.

Ms. Linares has more than twenty years of experience in the financial management field including budgeting, financial analysis, financial reporting, project and accounting oversight for commercial and nonprofit organizations. She also has more than seven years of consulting experience for small and medium-sized private companies in strategic and operational planning with an emphasis on financial and operational design, projections, implementation and monitoring. She has held finance and management positions at multiple non-profits overseas, with a focus on women’s economic development.
