Statement from the End Rape On Campus Executive Director on President Biden’s Supreme Court Nomination

WASHINGTON, DC – Kenyora Parham, Executive Director of End Rape On Campus, released the following statement after President Biden’s announcement of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson as the Supreme Court nominee: 

“End Rape On Campus strongly calls for the confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court of the United States. Judge Jackson’s immensely qualified experience demonstrates that she has a strong commitment to the welfare and uplift of all rights of all people, and that includes civil rights, reproductive justice, immigrant rights, and rights for people with disabilities. 

Judge Jackson’s record signals that she is a fair, impartial jurist, who is committed to equality and equity justice. At EROC, we believe it is important to center the diversity of perspectives on issues that affect those at the margins, especially student survivors, and we believe Judge Jackson serving on the bench will contribute to that. Her confirmation is a crucial step forward in the advancement of our democracy.”
